Within the framework of the conducted research, a comprehensive analysis of the current state of social entrepreneurship in the region was carried out, key problems and challenges were identified, and potential areas of support for international donors were determined for the purpose of developing social initiatives in the complex conditions of the region's transformation.
Key findings showed that social entrepreneurship has significant potential, but faces a number of challenges, including staffing and energy security, as well as general economic instability.
As part of the research, a map of social enterprises in the Khmelnytskyi region was also developed, which demonstrated potential gaps and allowed to identify unfilled niches in the provision of social services in the region. Directing the activities of social enterprises to identified problem areas will help to improve the quality of social services in Khmelnytskyi region and provide more effective support for vulnerable population groups. In addition, it will positively affect the development of environmental initiatives in the region.
