Analysis of Ukraine’s agricultural markets in 2022–2024: impact of the war and key changes

The gross harvest volumes of various crops demonstrated the impact of changes in sown area, fertilizer application, use of crop protection products, and weather conditions. According to the results of 2024, the gross wheat harvest remained almost unchanged compared to 2023, corn production decreased by 14%, sunflower by 15%, and buckwheat by 37%.

The analysis of agricultural products and processed goods exports demonstrates promising products and export directions. The study results showed an increase in volumes and an expansion in the geography of exports of eggs, apples, and confectionery products.
