The public organization "CrimeaSOS" works with the mission of de-occupation of Crimea and its reintegration into Ukraine, directing its activities to highlight the illegality of the occupation of the peninsula, counteract the repressive policy of the Russian Federation, maintain ties between Crimea and mainland Ukraine, and consolidate Ukrainian society through the protection of the rights and interests of internally displaced persons and other people affected by the armed conflict. Since its foundation, the organization has gone from an initiative to provide emergency assistance to IDPs to an expert structure that systematically deals with the issues of occupied Crimea and coordinates public movements and initiatives in the field of support for displaced persons.
