Today, when the availability of getting traditional banking loans is very limited the option of raising capital through the mezzanine financing comes as fairly reasonable. Mezzanine products are aimed not at obtaining the control on the business but to gain fixed short-term profit (1-3 years).
Now we are offering the products of such sort but the admission requirements for the project and businesses are strict. We don’t work with the companies that are about to default and seeking for any chance to survive. We don’t finance long-term investment projects with the obscure prospect to assess. We don’t take part in pure venture projects.
Our focus segment is a business that is facing some predicaments but is aware of how to overcome the crisis with minimum loses; business that is looking for opportunity to expand by acquiring weaker rivals without losing to much control on its business while attracting capital; business that is mature for going public but due to current economic turmoil has had to postpone placement and is in need of interim financing.
